Garmin inReach Mini 2 is a compact and lightweight satellite communicator with GPS, designed to keep you connected even when your adventures take you far beyond mobile network coverage. Weighing just 100 grams, it provides essential communication, tracking and safety features without adding unnecessary bulk to your gear.

Using the global Iridium® satellite network, inReach Mini 2 enables two-way messaging, location sharing, tracking and interactive SOS communication from remote locations around the world. Whether you're hiking, fishing, hunting, boating or exploring off the beaten track, it provides extra peace of mind when your phone can no longer keep you connected.

Two-Way Messaging

Exchange text messages with family and friends, communicate with other inReach devices in the field and stay connected even when there is no mobile coverage.

Interactive SOS

In an emergency, trigger an interactive SOS message to Garmin’s 24/7 emergency response coordination center. Two-way communication allows you to provide important information and receive updates while assistance is being coordinated.

Location Sharing

Keep friends and family updated by sharing your location through your MapShare™ page or by including your GPS coordinates in your messages.

Global Satellite Coverage

Messages, SOS alerts and tracking data are transmitted via the global Iridium® satellite network, giving you communication capabilities in areas where traditional mobile networks are unavailable.

Don't let its small size fool you. Measuring approximately 4 x 2 inches and weighing only 100 g, inReach Mini 2 is built for demanding outdoor adventures. It is impact resistant to MIL-STD-810 standards and features an IPX7 water rating.

TracBack® Routing

If you lose your way, the built-in TracBack® feature can navigate you back to your starting point along the same route you travelled – directly from the device.

Long Battery Life

The built-in rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 14 days of battery life in standard 10-minute tracking mode and up to 20 days in power-saving mode, making it ideal for longer adventures.

inReach Weather

Receive detailed weather updates directly on the inReach Mini 2 or a paired compatible device. Forecasts can be requested for your current position as well as other waypoints or destinations along your planned route.

Garmin Explore™ and Trip Planning

Take advantage of Garmin Explore™ for trip planning, route management and device settings. Plan adventures, create preset messages and quick texts, synchronise information and manage your inReach Mini 2 before heading into the field.

Flexible Satellite Plans

An active satellite subscription is required to access the Iridium network and use satellite communication features. Garmin offers both annual and flexible subscription options to suit different levels of use.
