As tough as a tank, with the performance of a sports car, the affordable Curado M 200/201 is a brilliant mid-sized baitcasting reel for small to medium-sized predators. With standard, high-speed and extra high-speed options, there is a Curado M to suit every preference.
There are many variations of the Curado family and the Curado-200/201 is the most comprehensive, covering a wide range of fishing styles, techniques and bait sizes. Packed with Shimano's best technology and designed with a low profile that sits close to the rod, the Curado 200/201 will make you feel right at home with it.
They throw extremely well, feel solid and smooth, and fight like a demon when the pressure is on.
All Curado 200/201 models feature a robust HAGANE aluminium body with a lightweight CI4+ side plate and are finished in a satin black finish. But don't be fooled by the understated look, which looks great on any baitcasting rod - especially the Curado family, inside is a drivetrain that's up to the toughest challenge. All models feature X-SHIP technology and Micromodule Gear, plus SILENT TUNE to enhance silky smooth rotation. The inclusion of the latest POWERHOOKING drag says all you need to know about the features of this beautifully engineered model.
When it comes to casting, the vibration-reducing MGL III spool is controlled by the SVS Infinity Breaking, which is easy to adjust and easy to use. Available in a variety of model configurations to suit almost any reeling speed preference.
